I graduated in 2001 from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education. My first teaching position was in Las Vegas where I taught for one year. From there I moved to Iowa with my husband where I taught 5th and 6th grade for three years. My husband and I both grew up in Sweetwater County, so moving home was a natural decision. I have been teaching at Monroe since 2007. This is my fourth year teaching STEM to both the 5th and 6th graders and I am very excited for what it offers our students.
I am passionate about Project Based Learning, EdTech & fostering lifelong learning and inquiry in my students.
